Incredible room with views of indian ocean, private beach a perfect place to relax Cardamom House hide gem, a boutique hotel Vipingo set in lush gardens among coconut trees. Comfortable accommodation and unforgettable dining await in a tranquil and private setting.
How is everyone doing, I know I haven’t been blogging in a min, if you follow me on Instagram I have had some life changing things happen to me, anyway that’s a blog post for another day.
I am slowly go back to travel blogging, hopefully will have more trips like this in the future.

I got the opportunity to go to Cardamom house part of Secluded Africa, thanks to Aisanguyan Safaris, it has been on my bucket list for a mine a minute since I saw a fellow Instagrammer had visited.
The Hotel & Room

Cardamom House is located in the marine conservation in Kuruwitu perched between coconut palms, they have access to a private beach that is un touch to the public.
Cardamom House has four villas called The Tower, Manda Toto, Lulu & Shela, they are 10 rooms spread out between the four villas and they can accommodate 20 guests.

Manda Toto: This is the main villa, with the main common & entertainment space, it houses the dining & bar area.
Tidbit: Manda Toto , which is the main villa houses the main common & entertainment area, plus dining & bar space. It also holds two penthouse suites with a private kitchen & dining area so you can, bring your own chef. Plus it is perfect for a family with kids.
I stayed in the tower on the top floor, my room is called Tree Top cause it is set on the tree tops with the view of the ocean I apparently had the smallest room, the bed it’s self was gigantic for one person, all the rooms are sea facing, so you always get to see the ocean.

The interior design is mostly swahili and arabic influences very minimalistic. Since Secluded Africa is big on conservation, most of the furniture is made from repurposed wood and all of the rooms have wood shutters meaning you can sleep with the Veranda door wide open to enjoy the sea breeze and sound, as long has your are under the mosquito net that is around your bed.

How To Get There
From Nairobi
You can either take a flight to the Vipingo Ridge Air Strip, or Malindi Airport. Cardamom House Staff can pick you up from the airport. (You can also land in Moi International Airport but I would advise against it cause of the traffic and hustle and bustle of the Mombasa city).
You can also use the SGR Train, they can also pick you up from the station.
From Mombasa you can drive towards Vipingo, here is the address 58 Cardamom House, Kuruwitu Estate Vipingo , Kibaoni, Kenya Vipingo.
