Incredible room with views of indian ocean, private beach a perfect place to relax Cardamon House hide gem, a boutique hotel Vipingo set in lush gardens among coconut trees. Comfortable accommodation and unforgettable dining await in a tranquil and private setting.
How is everyone doing, I know I haven’t been blogging in a min, if you follow me on Instagram I have had some life changing things happen to me, anyway that’s a blog post for another day.
I am slowly go back to travel blogging, hopefully will have more trips like this in the future.
I got the opportunity to go to Cardamon house part of Selcuded Africa, thanks to Aisanguyan Safaris, it has been on my bucket list for a mine a minute since I saw a fellow Instagramer had visited.
The Hotel & Room
Cardamon House is located in the marine conservation in Kuruwitu perched between coconut palms, they have access to a private beach that is un touch to the public.
Cardamon House has four villas called The Tower, Manda Toto, Lulu & Shela, they are 10 rooms spread out between the four villas and they can accommodate 20 guests.
Manda Toto: This is the main villa, with the main common & entertainment space, it houses the dining & bar area.
Tidbit: Manda Toto , which is the main villa houses the main common & entertainment area, plus dining & bar space. It also holds two penthouse suites with a private kitchen & dining area so you can, bring your own chef. Plus it is perfect for a family with kids.
I stayed in the tower on the top floor, my room is called Tree Top cause it is set on the tree tops with the view of the ocean I apparently had the smallest room, the bed it’s self was gigantic for one person, all the rooms are sea facing, so you always get to see the ocean.
The interior desgin is mostly swahili and arabic infulences very minimalistic. Since Selcuded Africa is big on conservation, most of the furniture is made from repurposed wood and all of the rooms have wood shutters meaning you can sleep with the Verdana door wide open to enjoy the sea breeze and sound, as long has your are under the mosquito net that is around your bed.
The food was out of this world they do specialise in seafood but will carter to whatever your dietary needs. I was on Half Board and to say I enjoyed every meal, since everything was a three courses meals.
The first meal I had was Seafood Skewers for starters, Main Dish was Noddles with Lobster, Desert was Coconut Pudding, I forgot, you are also give a juice has a palette cleanser.
Breakfast started with fruits, and smoothie bowl, plus any hot meal you want, I had Spanish Omelette , with bacon and sausages, for both morning I was there
Dinner I had :Starters Prawn Cocktail , Main Dish was Fish with vegetable patties and Asparagus, Desert was Strawberry Pudding.
The Service & Staff
Everyone on the staff was very accommodating and friendly,I got my own personal butler during the trip and will carter to any of your needs if you would like to relax on the Banda’s down by the beach, will remind you when your meals is ready.
