I know I have been MIA of late, and am sorry…. a lot has happened of late, I am working on few things, and learn some things.
I am still planning on relaunching this blog, has well of a new website called Miss Mulei Collective, I am planning this to be one under the new website, as well has one for my make-up, Photography, YouTube Videos for travel, so be on the lookout for that.
So a lot has happened will start with the Queen herself Beyonce…… I had the privileged to watch it online live on YouTube BeyChella like the rest of the world…. and all i can say is DAMMMMMN!!!!!!!!!!!! she shut it down, being the first black woman to headline at Coachella, on a side-note it is one of the music festivals on my bucket list to attend. It was everything form the way all the dancers were in sync, paying tribute to the Black Colleges, for the matching bands to the step teams, the outfits were amazing, I personally want the hoodies from both weekends. I expected Jay Z to pop up, but when Destiny Child came out, all my childhood dreams and memories came true. By the end of the performance my wig was snatched and had my jaw was on the ground.
We lost another great musician, Acvii passed on, he was on my list of people to see DJ, Tomorrow-land will never be the same again.
Khole finally gave birth amid a cheating scandal with her baby daddy, the girl was called True, and she is gorgeous.
The Met Gala happened early this month,a post is coming up later today or tomorrow, so be on the lookout, the theme this year was heavenly bodies.
And Finally to the event of the year happened, I debated on giving this it’s own blog post, but didn’t have a lot to write about, apart for sharing photos that were already only.
Prince Harry and Megan Markle finally got married this past weekend, I was up early and was stuck on the television and didn’t move, it was amusement to my mother cause, i could not be sent. My favorite looks from the day apart from the bride were.
Serena Williams, Amal Clooney (although her husband let her down),Lady Kitty Spencer,David Beckham,Priyanka Chopra and Oprah, on a side note Idris Elba’s fiance although she is beautiful, her outfit felt like she was just going to a normal brunch with friends not the wedding on the year, she dropped the ball on that one.
On to the bride, who is taking a lot of flack form some of the people online saying that her dress was underwhelming, In my opinion should it have been a little more fitting on the arms yes,but her dress was created by a British designer Clare Waight Keller who works for Givenchy her veil had all flowers from the 53 countries of the commonwealth in them, being am from a country which is in the commonwealth, I felt include in the wedding. Her dress was simple yes, but when you see the veil you understand, plus the Queen had to give her approval, plus we are so used to seeing women dressing less and less than when some decides to cover up, it is frown upon. Her makeup was simple, the point of make-up is to enhance beauty that is already their not change your appearance all though it can do that too.
Through out the ceremony, all we could see,is how much in love they were plus the black moments that had white people, shocked and confused. My favorite moment was when he saw her and told her she looked amazing and he was so lucky and that damn lip bite… at the end of the day that is the goal for everyone to find love like that at least once.
On a side note am waiting for my friends to introduce me to someone substantial like that mutual friend that gave us the royal wedding. Congrats to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
