Cultivating Good Habits

Hey Earthlings!!!!!!

     Hope Y’all are doing well……. This post was supposed to go up last week, and I should have at-least started, some of the things on my list. But I have been un inspired, and when I sit down in front of the company, I get distracted.

The beginning of 2018, had a list of goals, I wanted to achieve, you can read them here. Well I started the year out with a bang, but mind way, I got into a depression, and let my goals go. Venturing into that dark place, that we all have but don’t acknowledge it. ( I acknowledge mine).

So instead of goal/new year’s resolution setting, for 2019 I have decided to cultivate good habits, that will help me be productive and help achieve my goals.

The reason for cultivating good habits, is to have a total lifestyle change. That will affect all aspects of my life. From my weight loss journey, to have a productive day, to my emotional and mental stability.

It is said that it takes 21 days, to break a habit and 21 days to pick up one. So am going to try and break some of the bad habits, that I have picked up over the years and haven’t broken.

Here are the habits, I am planing to pick  up.

1.Get a morning routine. 

-Wake up at around 8:30-9:00 am.

My Current One:

-Check my Phone: Emails, Instagram, Facebook and replay any messages.

-Downloading Series, that aired the pervious night.

-Then I have breakfast, shower then start my day.

New Morning Routine :The one I want to try start having, but I will totally keep on researching till, I find one that works.

-Wake up at around 5:30-6 am.

-Meditate for 10 mins.

-Try and workout.

-Shower, then Breakfast.

-Then check my phone.

2.Workout: I have always had a goal, to lose weight and to be in a bikini by my birthday or the end year, but again I never seem to meet that goal. But am hoping, cultivating new habits, I will achieve that goal that seems unattainable to me.

So join the gym, and go back to Yoga.

-I want to at least add two workouts a day into my daily routine : One in the morning it is either Gym Session or Yoga and in the Evening Swimming.

This is a habit I want to have so, if I decided to not workout, I want it feel off.

3.Get my skincare routine, back in check.

4.Eat clean and healthy, cut out anything that isn’t necessary or considered fuel for my body. Has foodie, I am going to of course have cheat days.

5.Take self-care days, so as not to feel overwhelmed and to take care of my mental health.

6.Visualize the goals, I want to achieve in my business and work towards them.

7.Try and Journal every day: I want to at least put some thoughts down on a paper or my Ipad.

8.Get a Night Routine; I don’t technically have one, so like my Morning Routine this will be trial and error.

9.For every contemporary romance book, I should read an informative/self-help book. ( So give me suggestions)

10.Listen to podcasts, I started in December haven’t loaded any new episodes yet. I may add that to my night routine.

11.Try and shoot every day, to learn my camera well.

12.Try practise mindfulness.

13.And Finally Live With Intention.

How Am I Go To Achive Picking Up These Habits?

So am going to try and pick them up, one at time over the course of atleast 3-months.

I will do a check in one month, to see if, I have made any progress.

I made a Habit Tracker although, I made a Habit Tracker that is part of my planner.

Now I challenge you my Earthlings, to pick up a few good habits and let me what they are in the comments below.
