Staying Productive

Hey Earthlings….. Happy Wednesday

I know this is not, my regular day for uploading a post…., I post is a stepping stone to other posts about productivity that, i will releasing in the coming weeks.

I am looking and trying new ways, that require me to be productive and organized, this is one of them, plus I am introducing a new place in my hometown.

As a person who works, from home, most of the time. It sometimes gets stagnant and repetitive plus you get easily distracted.

Since I live with my parents, my mom takes liberated in sending me and I lose my train of thought, I went as far as putting a desk and chair in my room, but locking myself in my room with music playing, to her I am not being productive, because all she thinks I will be doing is watching series and in reality, I did use to do that but not anymore.

When I put a desk and chair in my room helped a bit but leaving the house for a few hours a day is helpful and you may get inspiration when people watching.

But where would you go in Mombasa, there Is Java, Cafesserie, Cafe Arabika, but they are always so much traffic, and it is not quiet and you defiantly can’t sit for free you have to buy something to use their free WIFI, if it becomes a habit, you will be spending unnecessary money that you could be investing in your business on coffee and pastries.

So, I stumbled upon Mombasa Works, a Coworking Space, When I went to a networking event organized by Afri-Love Connection and meet the owner Cindy…… I am not going to lie, I did have an idea to open a Co-Working space around Mombasa, but she beat me to it.

Mombasa Works is the brain child of Cindy, who wanted a place to work on her business and with no places that are quiet and won’t easily distract her… Mombasa Works was born.

This a Coworking space with a great ambience, I am in love with a the green wall. If I ever decided and meaning my blog business grows out of my bedroom, my office space will have a similar vibe to this. Don’t believe me see the pictures for yourself.

If you are in Mombasa and need a place to hold a meeting, or if you’re working from home like yours truly and need a little break from the same boring walls of your bedroom or home office, come check them out.

The Pricing is reasonable, the prices are on their Instagram.

They are located on the 1st floor of The Avenue Building (10th Street Burger Location) Behind City Mall, Mahesh Doshi Rd
