3.Old Town: Inhabited by a mix of local Arab, Portuguese, Asian and British settlers, this place is where government buildings were located. Old Town has narrow streets that have beautiful carved Swahili/Arab Doors. The Swahili culture which has been conserved, Old Town is a photographer’s dream.
I would suggest,to take a guide and also be careful with your valuables. The charges of a guide is 500/-.

4.Visit Gedi Ruins in Malindi. This an archaeological site, located in the coastal area of Kenya. Gedi (also known as Gede) Ruins is a Swahili-Arab settlement during medieval times, which stretched from Somali to Mozambique. This is as important when it came to trade along the Indian Ocean.
5.Visit Marafa Depression also known as Hell’s Kitchen. This is like the Kenyan version of the grand canyon, baring the great rift valley. I haven’t visited it yet, put it on my list of places to visit.
6.Haller Park: Used to be an empty quarry, then was converted into an animal and tree sanctuary. This place is truly a jungle, because of the canopy. Because of the canopy of trees, this place is a little scary although you can take some amazing photos.
Apart from seeing the animals, you can feed the giraffes from 11 am and 4 pm, you can also seed the crocodiles being fed. You can’t experience this place on your own, if you want a guide you would need to have a group.
Ps. The Ticket you buy is valid for the day till 5 pm.

How to get there: North Coast: Mombasa- Malindi rd, take a left at the Bamburi Junction and go to till the roundabout, take another left, you will see the signage
7.Mamba Village: This is a crocodile farm, that exports crocodile skin and also breeds crocodiles for the meat. Apart from that, it is an educational center, you will learn things about crocodiles, that you make know or don’t know. The feeding time is 4 pm and you can get a guide if you decided to go alone.

8. Nguuni Nature Sanctuary: Part of the Haller Park Foundation, It was part of Bamburi Cement and it was an empty quarry. It is now a paradise that holds different animals like Giraffes, Waterbucks, Ostrich, and many more. There is also a lot of activities that someone can do like camping, game drives, bird watching, and sundowners

How to get there: Situated off the Kiembeni Road – 4km from the Bamburi Cement Factory.
9. The African Barn Owl Cave: Located in Kilifi. There isn’t much information about this place but will definitely take a trip there to check it out soon. But I do know the prices are between 100/- to 500/-.
10.Mama Ngina Waterfront: Newly renovated, this will always be the best places to get coconut water and cassava crisps. Since it located on the other side of the Likoni Channel you may get to see a ship or two and also see the ferry crossing and possibly take a ride on it
